With love and gratitude, we remember a life well lived. George Bell passed away suddenly at his home on Birch Point, Balsam Lake on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 just days after his 75th birthday. His quiet nature, concern for others, and great sense of mischief will be lovingly remembered by his family. Loving husband of 51 years of Ruthanne (Riley). Cherished father of Alana Bell and her husband Brendan O’Malley and Scott Bell and his wife Kelly Bell. Dear Papa, Mr. Fix-it and baker extraordinaire of Joseph and Patrick O’Malley and Thomas Bell. Special step-papa of Blake Usher and his wife Morgan Birdgenaw and Brenden Usher. Dear brother of Jack Bell and brother-in-law of Barb and Mike Silver, Sharon Riley and Heather Riley. Special uncle of Kevin, Trish, Alley, Brittan and Liam Bell; Mark and Melanie Silver; Shannon, Steve, Luke and Aaron Johnstone; and Shawn Silver and Brie Courtney. According to George’s wishes, a private family memorial service has taken place. Please join George’s family for a celebration of his life on, Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 2:00-4:30 at the Fenelon Falls Senior Citizens’ Club, 58 Murray St. Fenelon Falls.
