Obituary for Janet Hunter (Miller)
Janet M. Hunter was born on April 4, 1960 in Sumter, SC to Hester Miller Capers and the late Thomas Capers.
In addition to her father, Janet was preceded in death by two brothers John L. Miller and Henry L. Miller.
Janet departed this life on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in Florence, SC.
Janet leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters Tiniki Wilson and Nikko Hunter; mother , Hester M. Capers; three sisters, Thomasina Osborne, Elder Towanda (Apostle Willie C.) Bellamy, Evelyn (Dale) Major; two brothers, Terrance (Patricia) Capers and Gary Capers and a host of host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be help on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM from the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church 182 S. Pike Rd. East Sumter, Reverend Aurelia Hill, Pastor and Bishop Northern Miller, Officaiting. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Church Cemetery in Rembert.
A public viewing will be held on Monday at the mortuary from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The family is receiving friends at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Elder Towanda and Apostle W. C. Bellamy 50 Tie Drive Sumter, SC.
