Joseph P. Savilonis, age 65, passed on January 20, 2018 after a brief illness. A long time resident of Medfield, MA, he was the husband of the late Sherry Lea Savilonis, and is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Melissa and John Surette, and his two grandchildren, Amelia and Jack.

Joe was known for his humor, and if he could write this himself, he’d say he should be remembered for “his love for Peach Ring Candy, Instant Coffee, Cher, and Saturday night car shows. He loved going for a drive, and was often spotted around town in his black GMC van, frequently mistaken as a member of the paparazzi or the CIA.”

Joe was a simple man, who lived a simple life. He longed to feel that warm summer sunshine on his face, to watch the birds in his backyard, and yes ... could often be found belting out a good tune, like Cher.

Visiting hours will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 10-12 at the Roberts Mitchell Caruso Funeral Home in Medfield, MA.
