Condolence: There are no words to fully express the sadness of this moment. Sometimes words fall flat and what is really needed is a loving hug or glance. I am not able to do that in person but know that my prayers have been and will continue to be with the family for peace and strength. Over the years he spent many years visiting Local 222 retirees in hospital along with fellow volunteer Paul. I met them on many occasions as they visited my Father, Abe. Bernie was always so upbeat and cheerful, kind and caring. His visits were always uplifting and appreciated.
