Condolence: Mrs. Legge was a great lady and she was one that certainly was able to share a good laugh having a great sense of humor. Myself and another classmate would speak short phrases in German, and to my surprise, she knew what we were saying, and corrected us because we would weren't saying words correctly. So, we couldn't pull the wool over her eyes! She was always very pleasant and it seemed that it wasn't all that long ago that she was still at the high school when I attended a night game and saw her there. She was very sharp and she could remember my name after nearly 15 years of my graduation. It was always a pleasure to say hello to her and I am devastated that I missed the service. My sincere condolences to the family, you were certainly blessed with a class A individual who was always nice and friendly. I will certainly miss her. Watertown High Will Never Have The Same Spirit Without Her Presence. God Bless.

Condolence: I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Legge. I did not have her as a teacher, however, I remember her fondly during my years at WHS. She was a very nice lady, well-respected & admired, and was a positive influence for some many students. I extend my sincere sympathy to her family & friends.

Condolence: The world lost a great person. During my years as NVL President, June was a fellow athletic director who could always be relied upon to do what was best for the student athletes, not only at Watertown but throughout the league.

May fond memories sustain you in this difficult time.

Condolence: A wonderful woman who gave her all for Watertown schools. I knew June professionally as the director of athletics. She always treated you well as a ref at WHS games. It wasn’t always easy being a female AD and she handled it with her usual grit and determination. Someone described her recently as someone who was fair in all her dealings. A true woman ahead of her time.
Rest In Peace June.. Watertown was a better place for having you involved in their schools!

Condolence: My condolences to Ms. Legge’s Family. I was fortunate to have Ms. Legge as a teacher, as an Athletic Director while a student athlete and then years later she hired me as a coach. Classmates from The Class of 1982 have expressed their fond memories and affection upon hearing of her passing. She will forever hold a special place in my heart. I always enjoyed having her take the bus with the cheerleaders to our away games (Thanksgiving Torrington game). Watertown High School And the Town of Watertown was a better place because of her love and dedication. I will forever cherish the years of memories. My thoughts and prayers to her family 💕

Condolence: On behalf of all the WHS coaches that served under her watch, I will forever remember June for her kindness and tireless dedication to Watertown High School athletics. She helped shape all of us as coaches and, in turn, impacted the life of every student-athlete to walk the halls of WHS during her time as AD. One more time... "Gimme a 'W'! Gimme an 'A'!..."
