Dear Family of Bob
I was a Professor at Colorado College years ago and Bob went with my whole class to Ludlow. He walked us through the battlefield and pointed out all the significant features. I still rememberthe drama of his presentation and I often steal some of his material when I take other groups there. He was a passionate union man and a lover of the Ludlow story. As I remember he even wrote a story about it - which I have never seen published. I hope his notesand writings are not lost to history. He sure could tell a good story - historical precision - filling in the blank sports with relevant and exciting fiction. I am sorry we lost touch in recent years. I tried to find him a few years ago but to no avail. I even called the Electrical Union - but they knew nothing about his where abouts. Shame on them! His portrait should be on their wall. May he rest in Peace..
