Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in St. Patrick’s Home on January 21, 2018.
“Jim”
of Hamilton, Ontario, in his 88th year.
Beloved husband to the late Betty (nee Holland). Missed by his children Sarah (Dan Heard) and the late Stephen. Proud “Grandpa” of Jack Heard and Max Forsyth. Fondly remembered by his many students, relatives and friends. A private family committal service will be held in the spring in St. Mary’s Cemetery (Almonte, ON.) A donation in memory of Jim may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario. A special thanks to the caring staff at St. Patrick’s Home.
