Obituary for Darryl O. Hull

Darryl O. Hull
Darryl O. Hull, 74, of New Stanton died Tuesday January 23, 2018 at his home. He was born August 23 1943 in Greensburg, he was the son of the late Harry and Dorsey Blackburn Hull. Prior to his retirement Darryl was employed at Verizon in New Stanton, and was a lifetime member of the Verizon Pioneers Club. He was a life member and Past President of the New Stanton Fire Dept. a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Navy, and was a member of the American Legion Post 981 of South Greensburg. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Lora Lee Kowatch. Surviving are his wife of 48 years Rosemary Lentz Hull, three children, Marcie Bender and her husband Chad of Mt. Pleasant, Julie Cope and her husband Ben of Greensburg, and Darryl M. Hull and his wife Kristen of Ruffs Dale. Six grandchildren, Alea and Cody Bender, Benny and Emma Cope, and Teagan and Maggie Hull. Friends will be received at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. 805 Pennsylvania Ave. Irwin on Friday from 2-4&6-8 PM, where a blessing service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 AM, with Fr. William McGuirk officiating. Interment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. The New Stanton Fire Dept. will hold services Friday evening at 7 PM.
