DARLA C. THOMAS

Darla, 79, of Oakdale, died Tuesday, January 23, 2018, in the Bridgeville Rehablitation Center

She was born November 7, 1938, in Imperial a daughter of the late Harry N. and Flora Broadhurst Cunningham.

Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Oakdale U.P. Church. She was a funeral director at Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc. in Oakdale and previously served as manager of North Fayette Twp. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother and took great pride in her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Kelly (Buddy Dewey) Thomas of Oakdale, Philip “Flip” (Sally Johnson) Thomas of FL, Rebecca (Michael) Claus of Oakdale; her grandchildren, Rick Thomas, Haley Thomas, Colin Claus and Chasen Claus. Also surviving are her sister, Mary C. Fisher of Sewickley; sister-in-law, Rea Dolinak of TN. and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Thomas and her brother, Dr. Harry “Toby” Cunningham.

Friends will be received Sunday 12-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Thomas-Little Funeral Service, Inc., 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale (724-693-2800) where funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m.
Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery.
