Went to meet her Lord on Thursday January 25th 2018, aged 82, at North York General Hospital, Toronto, of an aggressive, rapidly-progressing cancer.
She is succeeded by Bernard, her husband of 61 years, her sons Stefan (Steve), Greg, Freeman (Chris) and grandchildren Gunnar, Odin, Brittany and Kaila, Joshua and Caleb.
Born in London England, Iris is remembered for her “Exercise with Iris” classes and wonderful ladies’ events. She was such a vital person, always active, always seeking to bring joy, always with her lovely smile, and trusting God day by day. She loved the outdoors – walking, swimming, lakes, sunsets, the sea -- and she loved people! It’s been a wonderful life. She will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday February 9th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, north of Hwy. 7.

The funeral service will take place on Saturday February 10th at 11 a.m. at Bayview Glen Church, 300 Steeles Avenue East, just east of Bayview Avenue, followed by a reception.
