Walter Benjamin  Lynch
Walter Benjamin Lynch, 72, of San Mateo, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at his home following an extended illness. He was a native of Alma, Georgia and had lived in Putnam County for the past 35 years coming from Texas. Walter attended Crossroads Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, listening to country music and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Zona Williams and sons, Ricky Lynch and Terry Benjamin Lynch.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Lynch of San Mateo, daughter, Tami Driggers (Brad) of Hollister, siblings, Irene Wilbanks of Henry, TN, Hilda Nunez, Donald Lynch (Fonda) both of Fernandina Beach, FL, Jimmy Lynch of Alma, GA and Lester Batton (Bonnie) of Baxley, GA, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Trinity Baptist Church in Palatka.
