The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Joseph Greene can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Our condolences to you. We will certainly miss visits with Richie on the front porch. Such fond memories and lots of laughs over the last 11 years.

Just a funny story about Richie on his birthday many years ago. We had decided to do dinner on the beach. The Whitakers, ourselves, Barbara and Richie. We had prepared several dishes, tiki torches, tables with clothes, chairs and everything else you can possibly imagine. We were all loaded like pack mules hauling it all to the point for this occasion. We had a pleasant dinner with music and as dark closed in and we were about to have cake, Barbara said, I felt a drop. Of course, it was now dark and we could not see the approaching storm. Well, the heavens opened up with rain, and we were all trying to pack up and once again be pack mules to leave. We were soaked. Richie loaded up with a flash light and a chair to cover his head. We joked about this for years.
Richie, we will miss you. Love Roger and Pam Sawyer

Condolence: Thinking of you and your family during this hard time. Ritchie or as I called him "Pookie" provided a lot of laughs and some great one liners at our weekly Thursday dinners. He will be missed and thought of often. Ritchie and Debbie you are both in my prayers.
