The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John F. "Jay" Way can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: So sorry for your loss. I only knew Jay through the time I was in the choir. He was special. A true gentleman and Christian. I brought a Prayer Shawl to him at the home of his son near Kearney. He was very appreciative. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the visitation or service. May God comfort you with wonderful memories. Mary Ellen Jensen.

Condolence: I so enjoyed the time I got to spend with Jay taking care of him at the Residential Care Center. He was such a blessing. He was a joy and a hoot. No more needles in his life. He is whole, healthy and happy. I miss him every time I walk by his room. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: I got to know Jay only recently through our shared love of singing in the church choir. His mellifluous voice is forever stamped on my hearing; he brought his love of Jesus to life through his narration of our cantatas. He was a beautiful person, a man of great achievement and great humility. He will be sorely missed.
