Bob was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 10th, 1937 to F.F. Agee and Dorothea F. Agee. He attended Central High School, where he met his wife, Kay, the love of his life. Bob won a Tuba scholarship to The University of Tulsa, where he completed a BS of Marketing, while enjoying time in the marching and concert bands. He married Kay in 1960, and they added two daughters, Robin and Amy, while living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The family moved to Arlington, TX in 1974 and set up home.
Bob proudly served his country six years as a staff sergeant with the 45th Infantry Division, National Guard. He spent most of his working life with the Hartford, Commercial Union, and Ohio Life (now Liberty Mutual) life insurance companies, in sales, management, and financial consulting. He retired early, and invested his later years tutoring and substitute teaching where he found great joy teaching and mentoring kids, and supporting teachers.
Bob was a member of Fielder Church for 40 years, and taught an adult couple's bible class for 38 years. He loved to invest in people, and found great joy in giving and loving others. He was an adventurer at heart, and loved to ride his motorcycle, or fly in a dear friend's plane, attend a good airshow, and read. For many years, he was a member of Gideons International, distributing the Bible, the most beloved book in his life of which he was a lifelong student.
