Liam Frank Smith was born April 8, 1981, in Calgary, AB. on a Wednesday to David and Joy Smith. Liam was raised in Calgary, AB. and lived there most of his life except his high school years which he spent in Turtleford, Sk. Liam moved back to Calgary where he became a journeyman plumber. He continued his love for music playing for himself and others and spending time jamming in a jazz band. Liam had a love for reading, learning, and interesting conversation.

His family and friends remember him for his unrivaled sense of humour and wit, hilarious antics; but also his thoughtfulness and deep sensitivity.

Cherished memories are held by: his father, Dave; his mother, Joy; his brother, Rob; his sister-in-law, Jenny; his niece, Chloe; his nephew, Tulley; his sister, Camille; and her fiancé, Mark; as well as his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
