Obituary for Joanne E. Moore (Freeland)
Services for Joanne E. (Freeland) Moore, 92, of Mentor, will be at 11 AM on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
There will also be a memorial service at 1:30 PM on Friday at Grace Church of Mentor, 6883 Reynolds Road, Mentor.
Mrs. Moore passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Amelia Grace Assisted Living in Chester Township.
Born December 18, 1925 in Erie, PA, she was a longtime Lake County resident.
She was a member of Grace Church of Mentor and loved to read her Bible and fellowship with her lady friends.
Mrs. Moore was employed as a practical nurse at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. She retired in 1988 after 20 years of service.
Survivors are her children, Larry (Barb) Moore, Patricia (Paul) Deck, Sandra (Joe) Chrusczak and Christine Van Boxel; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George; her son, George, her parents, Raymond and Ora (Stranahan) Freeland and brother, William Freeland.
Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Grace Hospice, 7314 Industrial Park Boulevard, Mentor, OH 44060.
