Condolence: To the Lee Family
Our hearts are deeply sadden to hear about the recent passing of Georgette Lee. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire family and friends. I know that the many family members and friends will be there for you much strong love and support. We must also remember that our Heavenly Creator God will also be there for us. The scriptures reveal God as the source of tender mercy and comfort. Since all of us have lost someone in death, we will need true words of comfort to soothe our grieving hearts. Our Creator waste no time in sharing words of comfort to us. From the scriptures He makes known promise to all who are grieving at heart. This promise brings blessings to ourselves, and to our departed love ones. So for a moment please note what God is telling the Lee family, and other families who have lost someone in death. God states that the hour is near when God would call to those in the grave, and that the dead would hear His voice and stand up in life again.( John 5:28-29) From this one text God is giving us His personal guarantee that our departed love ones will indeed stand up in life again. Yes we will be reunited back with those who we miss so dearly. Just think about all those tears that he have shed over the lost of our love ones. God has saw every tear that has fallen from our eyes. HE has in a figurative sense collected those tears and preserved them in a bottle for a special time.(Psalm 56:8) That time is near when that bottle of tears is taken off the shelf. Yes the restoration to life will take place for Georgette, and billions of others. Oh these are not my words, but God's words to all who are grieving heavy at heart. Today we can continue to build our trust in this promise by reading all accounts that speaks about the resurrection blessing. There are nine such example that we can read and draw comfort. Here is just one such example recorded at Acts 9:36-42. Please allow the text to provide you with comfort from God. So in closing I say please continue to reflect on this wonderful promise that God will allow to take place. Remember that God has given us His personal promise. Yes it is impossible for God to lie. ( Titus 1:2)
