Obituary for James Dossie Thames

James Dossie  Thames
He is not dead, love lives forever more and he loved much and was beloved in return.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Revelations 14:13 KJV

James Thames departed this life on January 31, 2018.

On February 27th, 1954, a son was born to Dossie and Lizzie (Abington) Thames in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
James attended school in Stillwater, went to C.E. Donard (Stillwater High School) and then joined the United States Army.

He was married to Doris Codynah Nelson and added three children to this union.

As a member of Church of God in Christ of Stillwater, OK, he was under the pastorship of the late Bishop Fred D. Lawson, Jr. He was a faithful employee of Autoquip for over 20 years and then become self-employed as a home contractor.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Father and Wife.

He leaves loving memories to his family, three children, Kenneth Noble of Henderson, NV; Terriss Noble of Lawton, OK. and Andra Noble of S. Jordan, UT; two brothers, Robert Thames (Caroline) of Grayson, GA, Arvin (Pamela) Thames of Stillwater, OK; four sisters, Arnetta (Lonnie) Williams of Columbia, SC, Janet (Stan) Peters of Loganville, GA; Carol (Bruce) Johnson of Sugar Hill, GA; Debbie (Ty) Livingston of Lawrenceville, NJ
And a host of other relatives and friends
