JOETTA LEE MOTTE

Joetta, 77, of Midway, died Thursday, February 1, 2018, in Washington Hospital.

She was born December 8, 1940, in McDonald, a daughter of the late Stanley, Jr. and Margaret Eckles Simpson.

Mrs. Motte was a homemaker and was a 1958 graduate of McDonald High School where she was head majorette. She also attended Duff’s Business School. She previously worked at The Meadows and also worked at EW Curry & Co. in Pittsburgh. She enjoyed reading and shopping but most of all spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Robyn Motte (Patrick) Cooper of Midway, Peggy Motte (David) McAnany of Midway and Robert N. (Jane) Motte, Jr. of Oakdale. Also surviving are her brother, Stanley L. (Linda) Simpson, III of Savanah of GA; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Motte, Sr.
