I remember in 5th or 6th grade I was nominated for the office of Treasurer of the Student Council. I did not want the position and tried to decline, but to no avail. Diana insisted that I could win the position and that I could do a good job at it. She helped me make posters for my campaign that were very pretty. They had a treasure chest on the poster and had gems (fake of course) and jewels hanging out ot the chest. I did win the position but didn't know really what I was doing. But with Diana's and Mrs. Fletcher's help I did okay. Thanks Diana and Rest in Peace.
I remember Diana carrying her violin to school almost every day it seemed. I tried to take violin lessons but was not good at it and dropped them after a few weeks. She and I walked to school and back home many times together. She lived on (I think) Riverside Drive and I lived on Scenery Ave Diana was a very sweet person and I'm sure she will be missed greatly.
