Gerald (Jerry) Alexander Gorr
September 13, 1941- February 2, 2018
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jerry Gorr of Three Hills, Alberta at the age of 76 years old. Jerry was born to Alex and Pearl Gorr. Jerry and his siblings were raised on the family farm near Three Hills. It was here he became engaged to the two loves of his life: farming and his wife of 54 years, Dianne Gorr. Jerry was a very outgoing person and when he wasn’t farming, he and Dianne were socializing. Whether it is playing hockey, curling, camping, fishing, playing cards or attending events for his kids and grandkids, it was an occasion to visit. Jerry leaves to mourn him his beloved wife, Dianne Gorr (nee Williams), his children; Tracey Gorr and Brian (Barb) Gorr and his grandchildren; Ashley Gorr, Chelsey Gorr, Zach Robertson and Jake Robertson, his siblings; Jack (Ruth) Gorr and Betty (Clarence) Martin, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jerry was predeceased by his parents; Alex and Pearl Gorr, his brother; Ronald (Lois)Gorr and his nephew; Douglas Gorr and his great-nephew; Ryan Gorr. Jerry was very much a family man and will be missed by all. A Celebration of Life in Jerry’s honor will be held on Friday February 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Trochu Community Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Society or a charity of your choice.
