Mattieo Calvin Davis
Mattieo Calvin Davis, son of the late Robert Lee and Sarah Francis Shrieves Davis, was born on June 12, 1961 in Norfolk, Virginia. At the age of eighteen months, he moved to Modest Town with his grandparents, Ellis and Tobitha Shrieves, who raised him.

Mattieo received his education in the public schools of Accomack County and graduated from Arcadia High School. He worked several jobs on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and Maryland. His last place of employment was at Dover Air Force Base in Dover, Delaware.

Mattieo was a member of First Baptist Church in Mappsville, where he joined at an early age. He had a love for bowling and watching football. Mattieo was a resident at Aurora Nursing Facility in Princess Anne, Maryland for the last thirteen years.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories: his children, Nyeisha (Eric) Thomas, Renaldo Tull, Cicoira Drummond, Antwan Davis, and Mattiea Davis; four grandchildren, Eric Thomas, Elijah Thomas, Renaldo Tull, Jr., and Kimani Tull; sisters, Celestine Shrieves and Deborah Shrieves; brother, Zerro Davis; sister-in-law, Regina Davis; aunts, Lorece (Homer) Bounds, Ida (James) Cox, Shirley (Theodore) Summerville, and Renee (Larry) Johnson; special cousin, Ronald Cox; special friends, Onnie Davis, Norman Collins, Steve Bailey, Alfred Needam, and Craig Nock; and a host of other relatives and friends.
