Obituary for Gregory D. Brown
Gregory D. Brown Sr., 61, passed away February 4, 2018, in his West Chester residence.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late James J. and Shirley M. (Johnson) Brown.
Gregory was a graduate of Reading High School.
He was a United States veteran serving in both the Navy and Air Force.
Gregory was employed by Veteran's Affairs, Coatesville, as an activity aide.
He loved listening to blues and enjoyed playing the piano. But most importantly he loved his family and children very much.
Gregory is survived by his four children, Tabatha West, Ashley Price, Gregory D. Brown, Jr., and Taylor Brown. He is also survived by his two siblings, Michelle Singleton and Kevin Brown; and four grandchildren, Elijah, Tatiana, Anesha and Tyler and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by his special niece, Chantel Brown.
He was predeceased by his sister, Kim Brown.
Memorial Service will be held Monday, February 12, 2018, at 12 pm in the Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home Inc., 739 Penn Ave., West Reading, with burial to follow at Indiantown Gap. Viewing will be held from 11 am to 12 pm in the funeral home. Contributions can be made to Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, see address above, to help defray funeral expenses.
