The only time i spent with your father was enjoying a beautiful sunrise together!! It was magical!!! He brought things and pictures out to show me; pictures, pins, memorabilia...all his prized possessions. One by one explaining the adventure that signified the reason he kept such things. He was proud. But he was tired. He was proud of the things he done in life and was ready to move on. He knew it was coming. And he went the best and most peaceful way there could be...in his bed at home with some of his family there. Eric Black, you definitely resemble your father...some in looks, some in outlooks on life...and he was on to your antics!! Im honored to have shared that morning with y'all, fireworks n all!!!!! (Even though the. Neighbors thought we were nuts, your dad didnt bat an eye. Lol.) He will definitely be looking over you Eric. His loyalty to your mother proved the man he was . His life should be celebrated and cherished.
