Condolence: To Aunt Alice, Jon, David, Joel, and families...as you read through the memories left by our family, there is a common thread of a gentle and kind man whom we all loved and whom touched us in different ways. I am so thankful for our visit in October. We had a wonderful conversation talking about our families and life, but what I will remember most is him telling me how he and Aunt Alice met, the love and devotion in his eyes and heart for his life-long soul mate. He was proud of his sons and grandchildren and always showed such support for you. I remember him telling me how mom saved his life as a little boy by pulling him from a creek he had fallen into and how proud he was of me for showing such love and commitment for mom and dad and traveling back and forth from VA to NY during their illness. When my girls were little, they had a hard time keeping the uncles straight so they gave some of them nicknames, his was Tall Walt. He had such a gentle, calming presence, and a wonderful warm smile. May the pictures and memories fill your hearts and give you peace during this difficult time. Much love, Nancy and Kevin

Condolence From: Carolyn & Murray Hall
Condolence: Alice and family, Murray has such fond memories of Walt as a child. We both remember him as an adult, as a man of integrity, class and so many people, in and outside of the family respected him. Even Michael, who doesn't communicate much answered right back to say how sorry he was that Uncle Walt was gone. He said to give you all his love! We all treasure different times we had with Walt. Love you all. Carolyn, Murray and Mike
