Obituary for William J. DeMayo Jr.
TROY William J. DeMayo Jr., 56, of Row D Way died Wednesday February 7, 2018 at his residence. Born and educated in Cohoes he was the son of the late William J. and Diane LaForest DeMayo Sr.
Bill had been employed by Latham Sparrowbush Associates and had retired in 2016 due to disability. Prior to that he was employed at Harmony Mills Lofts.
He was the husband of Theresa Kelley DeMayo and father of Damien DeMayo of Missouri, Joshua McEwan of Troy, William DeMayo IV of Cohoes and Jessica DeMayo of Troy. He is the brother of Antoinette Borrero of Troy, Gwendolyn Banks and Stephen DeMayo of Florida, Shannon DeMayo of Watervliet and Dana DeMayo of Troy. 18 Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Tuesday evening at 7 pm at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford.
Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4-7 pm, prior to the service.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Ln, Latham, NY 12110.
