Condolence: So sorry to have heard of Glen's passing. Jane and I worked together as swimming instructors, then later during summer HBM&S position and so I knew him first as her father.
My next fond memory of Glen was when I inherited a Brownie camera and wanting to give it a try brought it up to the shop to see if he could find film for it. He did.
Another time, he took my two very young children (3&5) and I sailing on Beaver Lake. It was a rough day and so the kids were relegated below decks where they shreiked with laughter as the weather tumbled them around the cabin. They thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I was terrified. Glen laughed.

Again, I'm very sorry for your loss. I'm sure he was very instrumental in enriching your lives and memories of him will continue to do so all your lives.

And hello Jane!! I miss seeing your lovely, smiling face. I hope all is well with you.

Condolence: 20181203: I remember Glen well even though it was 43 yrs ago when we first met. Shortly after my arrival at Flin Flon, I was interested in sailing & bought Glen's Fireball sailboat. He taught me the basics of racing & I even won a trophy with his son Lee skipping (we had capsized at the start line but still won lol !!). I also remember my XC ski trip to Mount Assiniboine Lodge with Glen, Ivor Hedman & Bill Friesen. I still have a group photo & a painting of us skiing. And of course, the most memorable of it all, I always remember Glen's friendliness and his love of the great outdoor !!! I shall miss you my old friend.

Condolence: Always remembered Glen as the patient and kind photographer who took everyone’s wedding and school photos in the Flin Flon area. He took our wedding photos in his studio on Main Street in 1980. So sorry to Myrna and family for the loss of this wonderful man. He will be missed at Denare Beach.

Condolence: Myrna and Family:

We were saddened to learn of Gen's passing. We enjoyed seeing him at various social events we attended . I know Glen back in the late 70's and early eighties and his knowledge of photography was impressive and he was so willing to share it with others. I remember more than one Photo 54 Club workshop at his studio. He was a gentle quiet man and an inspiration to us all.

Condolence: Dear Myrna, I wanted to let you know how sorry I was to hear of Uncle Glen's passing. I'll always remember the time you & Glen went to visit Mom in Gilbert Plains & walked into the wrong house! Condolences also to Leigh & Margot and to Jane & Charlette. Although I hadn't seen Uncle Glen in a long time I often thought of him. Thinking of you all ...
