Obituary for Joan D'Antonio

Joan  D'Antonio
Joan D’Antonio 85 of Middletown, New Jersey passed away peacefully at Brighton Gardens Assistant Living on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Joan was born on December 12, 1932 in Orange, New Jersey. She attended Irvington High School which was where she met the love of her life Rocky. In 1952 she married her beloved husband and they stood married for 62 wonderful years. They lived in Hazlet, and Little Egg Harbor, but settled their later years in Middletown. Joan was an owner/operator of a retail store. She is predeceased by her parents Raley and Martha. Joan is the devoted Mother of David, Mark, Margie, and Doug. She is survived by her grandchildren Ry, Jesse, Sam, Britt, Jared, Noah, Brooke, Alex, Aiden, and Leanna. Joan enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, painting and board & card games. Most of all spending time with her family is what truly meant so much to her. She also liked listening to music by Neil Diamond.

Joan will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Rt 35 Middletown, New Jersey 07748 on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2-6pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday morning at Saint Mary, Mother of God Parish in Middletown, New Jersey at 9:15 am. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Red Bank.

In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting donations to the Alzheimer’s Association in Joan’s memory.
