Richard Raught
KANE
Richard Raught, 79, of Rt. 6, Smethport, passed away Friday (February 9, 2018) at UPMC-Kane.
Born March 14, 1938, in Hamlin Township, he was a son of the late Guy and Kittie Miles Raught. On January 20, 1957, in Mt. Jewett, he married Shirley Hall who survives.
A graduate of Hazel Hurst High School, class of 1956, Richard retired as manager of Kane Handle in 1997.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Tim (Casey) Raught of Smethport and Gary (Jan) Raught of Kane; two granddaughters, Donna (Scott) McKimm and Bridgette Housler; three grandsons, Bobby (Jessie) Housler, Dustin (Sabrina) Raught and Craig Rex; 13 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mary Walker in California, Esther Johnson of Lewis Run, Gerry Nunn of Hazel Hurst, Carol Stroup of Mt. Jewett and Adda Swanson of Smethport; a brother, Guy Raught of Hazel Hurst; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Housler; a sister, Ginny Klein; and two brothers, Bill Raught and Don Raught.
In keeping with Richard's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hamlin Twp. VFD or Donor's choice.
