Dunn, Margaret (nee Whalen)
Peacefully surrounded by her family on February 11, 2018, Margaret Dunn passed away in her 76th year at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Beloved wife for 57 years to Kevin. Loving mother of Carol Ann Goddard, Deborah Cormier (Patrick), and Kevin Dunn (“Mickey”). Dear nanny of Rebecca, Derek, Brittany, Melissa, and Taylor. Great nanny of Omarah, Zoey, and Gabriel. Dear sister of Henry (Vange), George (Rosie), Val (Shirl), Elizabeth (Blair), Martha (Sandy), Bill (Linda), Andrew (the late Gina), Dave (Anne), Agnes (Andrew), Steve (Barb), and Sue (Byron). Sister-in-law of Kay Balestra (Bill). Survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Friday, February 16th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 17th at 10am. Burial to take place at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital would be appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the staff of The Wellington LTC and to the doctors and nurses of the 4th floor at St. Joseph’s Hospital for their care and compassion shown to our mom during her stay.
