Maps, Trails, Forts and Bike Rides

I always looked forward to our vacations, especially those at Grammies house in Vermont.  We filled each day to the fullest creating trails in the orchards, mapping out each twist and turn. We built forts and made fires. We rode our bikes miles each day to collect cans to get money for penny candy or a soda at the airport. Winter breaks we watched and measured the snow so we could create a luge in the front yard or slide down suicide hill.  Skiing was so much fun cutting between trails at Bromley.  Such great fun. I remember always chasing after you as you drove down Dermody road to start your drive home. I cried then and I cry now as I in my mind am chasing you down the last road.  May God bless and redeem your soul as it is good. Until we meet again brother.
