Frederick A.  Schrimpe
Woolwich- Frederick A. Schrimpe, 61, of Stagecoach Road passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in his home, surrounded by family and friends.
He was born in Oceanside, New York on December 1, 1956, a son of Frederick F. and Marion (Codere) Schrimpe.
He graduated from State University of New York at Oswego with a Bachelors Degree in Communications. He entered the United States Navy in 1979. On September 12, 1981 he married Anna Masel. He was employed at Bath Iron Works, then CSC for Bath Iron Works and worked this past year for L.L. Bean as a networking engineer.
He and his wife traveled extensively during his time in the Navy. In 1995 they attended the Shelter Institute and together build their own home. He enjoyed kayaking, biking and reading George MacDonald with his wife, Anna.
Frederick is survived by his wife, Anna Schrimpe of Woolwich, his mother, Marion Schrimpe, one brother, Karl Schrimpe and one sister, Kristen Edmond and her husband Charlie, and their four children, all of Youngsville, NC. He leaves several nieces and nephews on his wife’ side as well.
A visiting hour will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 followed by a time of sharing at 2P.M. at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High Street, Bath. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Woolwich in the spring with military honors. Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritans Purse, P.O.
