Obituary for George A Blanton Sr.

George Arnett Blanton Sr., 89 of North Chicago, IL., passed away at the Terrance Nursing Home in Waukegan, Il. on February 10, 2018.
He was born on May 19, 1928 in Marvell, Arkansas to the late George A Blanton and Fannie B (Woods) Blanton.
George married the former Josephine Coleman on May 17, 1947. She preceded him in death on July 7, 2016. He worked many years at North Shore Foundry.
George was an extremely loving and polite Father and Friend. His hobbies were fishing, Channel 7 news, going on long rides, and spending time with his family.
His is survived by his children, Fannie Taylor, Carolyn (Tommy) Carter, Donna Blanton, Veronica (Bobby) Hill, Gail (Danny) Swopes, Rex Blanton, Bobby Forston, James Overton and 30 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
