The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Merlene B. Clark can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Merlene's passing. I remember her from Doublerun Baptist Church. I also remember Mrs. Mae and Mr. Grady as well as Melvin whom she was dating at the time. I remember that she was very friendly and always laughing. I pray for family and friends to be strengthened at this time.

Condolence: Leisa and Allen, my prayers go out to you during this difficult season. I know how much you loved and cared for your mother, Mrs. Merlene. She always had a warm smile to offer, story to share, and a prayer to give. And, I know she loved her Lord, her family, and her church family all, very dearly. She will be missed. God bless you all.
