It allows family and friends a place to re-visit, interact with each other, share and enhance this tribute for future generations. Ethel   Miller
Ethel was born in Arborg Mb to Wilhalmina (Mina) & Alfred Miller. She was predeceased by her brothers Arnold, (Ann), Rudy (Albertine), Oscar (Jean) a sister in infancy, niece Wendy, nephew Donald & a nephew in infancy. She is survived by sister-in-law Jean, nieces & nephews Eric, Nancy (Michael), Bryan, Norman (Sharon), Vern (Paige), Marvin, Sherri, Daryl, Marilyn; Kevin & Bonnie (Kenny) as well as numerous great nieces & nephews & great- great nieces & nephews.

Ethel loved animals & was interested in their welfare. Over the years she adopted Sandy, Kelly, Skeezix, Cricket, Lady Jane, Pharah, Mr. Moto, Ladybird, Sneakers, Noelle, Otis, Yoshie, Pugsley, Lucy & Kato (most of them from the Humane Society).
Ethel taught elementary children for 37 years in St. James & Wpg as well as in rural schools. Ethel lived for travel! She visited six continents. Some of the greatest joys came from viewing the elephant herds in Botswana, admiring but keeping her distance from the Tazmanian devils, holding adorable koalas, walking on the Great Wall & viewing the Terra Cotta warriors in Xian, China, kissing the Blarney Stone, seeing the interior of King Tut's tomb, walking amongst thousands of penguins in Argentina & Falkland Islands, seeing the majestic Iguazu Waterfalls in Argentina, flying over Victorian Falls, Zambia in a helicopter, ballooning in Kenya to see giraffes & elephants, walking through Jerusalem, and sailing on the sea of Galilee, sailing on the Mekong River in Vietnam, attending a church service in a cave in Turkey.

Should friends desire, donations to Wpg Humane Society (or any animal related charity) would be appreciated There will be no formal service at Ethel's request.
