Condolence From: Susan and Bob Taylor
Condolence: Our very sincere sympathies to you, Lee and your family. I knew Bob in high school but his greatest influence on my life happened 5 years ago. We met you and Bob in Vic's and I was in a very heavy arm cast. When I told you I shattered my elbow and had a surgical steel plate, Bob told me his story of shattering his elbow and the intense therapy. My reaction was WOW! When I started my therapy and wanted to give up because of the pain, I thought of Bob and remembered his perseverance. This inspired me to keep going. Thank you Bob!!

Condolence From: Bob Penston
Condolence: Sincere condolences to Lee and the Rye Family from the Penstons.

My first memories of Bob are when I was playing Little League Baseball in Fort Garry (early 1960s). I believe Bob's father coached one of the teams. Bob became my baseball coach in Pony League with the old Ft Garry Legion Greys. Then he became my hockey coach and later my football coach with the Ft Garry Lions. He had a remarkable impact upon me and I never forgot the contributions he made.

More recently, our family was most appreciative of the kind message sent to us by Bob and Lee on the passing of my brother Brian in Jan 2015.

Rest in Peace, Bob, you will long be remembered.

Condolence From: Paul bevis
Condolence: I was fortunate to be coached by Bob in both hockey and football from the time I was 13.....over 40 years ago. With the exception of my Father there has not been a greater male influence in my life. I am honored to have been a small part of his life. My sincere condolences to Lee and the rest of the Ryder family. Coach Rye was a legend and will be missed terribly by many who owe him so much. Thank you Lee and your family for sharing him with us.
