The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Walter Gibbons can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Rev.Ed Prinselaar
Condolence: My condolences are accompanied by fond memories of
Walter's time in Nipigon, our conversations, the trips we made, the visit to a Boat show in Toronto when Walter got stuck in a very expensive galley of a yacht on display upsetting the sale's person the times he visited our home and berated us for the changing location of the furniture and his uncanny ability to solder small wires in a TV. He was a Seeing blind. Happy to read about his community involvement during his ministry and after.Peace, Ed

Condolence: Theresa, my heartfelt condolences to you & Walter's son. I am sincerely sending you a big hug of love that I hope will help ease the pain of the loss of Walter, for you two had such a beautiful bond of love. Walter was truly a special soul- how blessed we all were to have him bless our life in so many ways. Theresa, I am sorry that I was unable to attend Walter's funeral as I read about it after the date. Once again Theresa, a big hug to you from Sylvia K.

Condolence: To Theresa and family -- Art (AB7FB) and I send you our sincere condolences. Walt was part of the WRN (World Radio Network) family and as family he will be missed. We always enjoyed his sense of humor, upbeat attitudes, and the stroke of noon with the clock chiming in the background while transmitting. We will cherish all those fond memories and more. To Walt...rest in peace my friend.
