Obituary for Concettina "Tina" Luongo (DeSantis)

Luongo, Concettina “Tina” (DeSantis) 95, of Westford, formally of East Boston and Montreal, Canada, passed away on February 23, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Pasquale Luongo.

Cherished daughter of the late Gaetano and Philiamina DeSantis. Loving mother of Michael Luongo and his wife Gloria of CA, John Luongo of Chelsea and his late wife Susan, LisaTardi and her husband Joseph of Westford and the late Patricia Ristino and her surviving husband Richard of Revere, Frederick Luongo and his surviving wife Roberta and the late Patrick Luongo. Dear sister of Anthony DeSantis of Canada, and the late Mary Giariusso, Joseph and John DeSantis. Cherished friend and sister in-law of Edna Luongo. Adored grandmother of 17 grandchildren, Michael, Steven, Brian Melissa, Vincent, Matthew, Adam, Kristen, Chris, Joey, Jimmy and Nicole Luongo, Patrick and Stephanie Ristino, Jennifer (Schell), Jillian, Bianca Tardi and 18 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends will honor Tina’s life by gathering in Vazza’s “ Beechwood” Funeral Home, 262 Beach St.,
REVERE on Tuesday, February 27 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and again on Wednesday morning at 9:30AM before leaving in procession to the Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston for a Funeral Mass in celebration of Tina’s life at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett MA.
