Born in Cornerbrook, Newfoundland on September 9, 1955 and passed away on February 17, 2018 in the Ottawa General Hospital. Daughter of the late John and Ida Penney of Cornerbrook, Newfoundland. Cherished sibling to 6 sisters and 6 brothers. Dear wife to the late James Henry Jones (“JJ”). Missed by her children Victoria McNicholl (Sam), Melody McElmon (Huffman) and husband Ian, also Connie Izeard and Raymond Izeard (Tamara). Proud grandmother to Joshua (Tiffany), Dylan, Amanda, Corrissa, Lawson, William, and Faith also great-grandmother to Henry, Connor, Layton, Jaxon and Savanna. A Celebration of Life will be held in Georgetown, ON., on March 4, 2018 in the Legion from 12 noon until 4pm. A Memorial Gathering will be planned at a later date in Almonte, ON.
