Obituary for June Davis
June Ellen Davis, born January 16, 1941 to Ruby and Clarence Armstrong passed away on March 1, 2018 in Manhattan, Kansas.
June married Gayle Davis on October 2, 1959 and raised their four children in Vermillion. June worked for the Vermillion Public School and enjoyed being around the kids. Her favorite place was with her family at the river. She enjoyed camping, fishing, playing cards and dominos and spending time with friends. June and Gayle moved to Kansas in 2001.
Survivors include her husband Gayle Davis of Manhattan, KS, Kathy (Don) Zehr of Manhattan, Greg Davis of Sioux Falls, SD, Ken Davis of Port St. Lucie, FL, Gus (Tammy) Davis of Watertown, SD, Frank and Martina Butler of Manhattan, KS, 10 Grandkids, 7 Great Grandkids. Proceeded in death by her parents, Ruby and Clarence, brother Kenneth Dale.
Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 10 with visitation one hour prior to the service, all at the Hansen Funeral Home in Vermillion.
