Edith Lowe
Mrs. Edith (Betty) May Lowe of San Angelo went to be with her Lord and Savior March 4, 2018 at the age of 91. There are no services planned. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way. She will be buried in Mertzon alongside her husband “Tex”.
Betty was born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania on February 10, 1927. She married Woodrow (Tex) Wilson Lowe, the love of her life in 1957 and they shared 22 glorious years together.
Betty is survived by Mr. and Mrs. David Reedy, Mrs. Pauline Reedy, Mr. and Mrs. David Kemp, Mrs. LaRue Napier and their extended families.
Betty was a caregiver to her husband and by trade. The loved ones of the patients she cared for remember her special relationship with them as one of love and kindness. Betty your precious soul will be sorely missed.
In the last days Betty spent with Tex, he would say, “Lord let me down easy”. She loved telling that story. Now the Lord has let her down easy to join him. Amen.
