Mr. Jon Stuart Harrah, 53, of Yadkinville, NC and formerly of Albany, died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at his residence.
The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Hall & Hall Funeral Home with interment following in Mt. Sinai Cemetery in Doerun. Visitation will be at 1:00 preceding the service. Rev. Ken Chancellor will officiate.
Mr. Harrah was born on May 19, 1964 in Albany, GA to Bobby and Imogene Tanner Harrah. He had lived in Albany most of his life before moving to NC. He was a graduate of Dougherty High School and was an industrial insulator. Mr. Harrah loved fishing, woodworking, painting, and gardening. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his grandmother, Lossie Tanner Carlton, of Sylvester, GA; sisters, Angela Harrah of Worth County and Beth Harrah Coxwell (Dudley) of Mt. Juliet, TN; niece, Lacy Taylor (Cole) of Hermitage, TN; nephew, Austin Graham of Lee County, GA; great nephew, Wesley Taylor of Hermitage, TN; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
Hall and Hall Funeral Home has been entrusted with the care of the Harrah family.
