CAROL ANN HENSON

Carol, 79, of McDonald, died Friday, March 2, 2018, in St. Clair Hospital.

She was born October 7, 1938, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late William C. Brooks and Elizabeth Ashworth Henry.

Mrs. Henson was a nurse at Allegheny General Hospital for 36 years until her retirement and was a member of Union Presbyterian Church, Robinson Twp. where she served as a Deacon. While living in McDonald she attended the Irons Memorial Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed bingo, and taking care of others.

Surviving are her daughter, Nancy (Steve) Ciaramella of Sturgeon; sisters, Rachel Phillips of Robinson Twp. and Judy Henson of FL. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and her cat, Lulu.

She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Henson and brother, Bill Henry.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Union Presbyterian Church, 6161 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to the Union Presbyterian Church or to Irons Memorial Church, 147 N. McDonald St., McDonald PA 15057.
