Condolences

Condolence From: Linda
Condolence: I want to give my deepest condolences for your loss. Losing a loved one is the hardest situation anyone can face, but the bible gives us hope for those we lose in death. Acts 24:15, those who have died can be resurrected to live again. My favorite scripture is Revelation 21:4, mentions that soon God will do away with death, and it will be no more. I hope that you take comfort in these scriptures, and turn to Jehovah God for comfort during this difficult time.

Condolence: Sharon and family, Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of Doug. I considered him a lifelong friend, going all the way back to Ferguson Jr. High and then Big Sam. We all put in our time and retired from GM. Doug was a stand up guy and always made lemonade from the lemons life dealt him. Sharon, prayers to you and your family during this difficult time and I am at a loss to say anything else. RIP my friend and we will see you again and maybe play some Hold Em'! God Bless!

Condolence: Sharon and Michael,
When I think of Doug entering into the presence of our Lord the song "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me comes to mind and I picture him on his knees looking up into the face of our Lord with awe, wonder and love. As Hebrews 11:1 tells us "faith is the assurance of things hoped for." We love you both so much and this time is hard even knowing that we have the peace that passes understanding. Our love and prayers always.
Lora and Steve

Condolence: I knew Doug from Highland Baptist youth group and from SHHS Class of '73. He was nice to everyone, always kind, and fun to be around, and he went through a lot with cancer and radiation during this time. I admired him for the strength and grace to endure. I prayed last year and this for his heart to heal. I also know that he is rejoicing and the party was amazing. In fact, assuming it's a wedding-style party in Heaven, it is still happening. Sad for the family not yet joining him because you will miss him so, glad he's out of that earthly garment.
