William Anthony “Bill” Sullivan was born on June 15, 1936, in Marshall, to William and Regina (Kaczrowski) Sullivan. He grew up in Marshall and was part of the first graduating class at Central Catholic High School in 1954. On August 19, 1960, Bill was united in marriage to Susan Boyer. The couple made their home and raised their family in Marshall. Bill worked as a Route Salesman for Frito Lay for many years. After his retirement, he delivered flowers for Hy-Vee.

Bill enjoyed music, bowling, grilling food and watching the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. He and Sue enjoyed tours and travels in the U.S. and Europe. His favorite tour was to Alaska. He really enjoyed visits with his family, especially his grandchildren, and time at the lake. Bill had an endless supply of smiles, sass and sweets for everyone he met.

Bill died on Sunday, March 4, 2018, under the care of Prairie Home Hospice at his residence in Marshall. He is survived by his wife, Sue, of Marshall, son Mike (and Diane) Sullivan of Eagan, grandchildren Colin and Kate, son Steve (and Kimber) Sullivan of Forest Lake, grandchildren Tim, Jack and Claire, daughter Shawn (and Tad Powelson) of Paw Paw, MI, grandchildren Eric, Gabrielle and Cassie, son Kevin (and Vonda) Sullivan of Mason City, IA, grandchildren Meghan, McKenzie and Kylee, siblings Pat (and Mary) Sullivan of Eagan, Colleen (and Alan) Forbes of Marshall, Richard (and Arlene) Sullivan of Long Prairie, Sharryl (and Jim) Tholen of Osakis, Jeanille (and Gary) Watkins of Eden Prairie, Michelle (and Al) Feldhake of Burnsville, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Regina Sullivan.
