The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Sucietto can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Such a legend! Coach Sucietto instilled a work ethic and a love for sports that stays with me today that complimented my parents approach. The epitome of old school that cannot be replaced. Starting with the toothpick, warmups to laps, from up/downs to firm shoves on the back to get back in the game, Coach Sucietto taught me what hard work meant in sport and has carried over to life. In coaching youth sports, I can only hope to give back a little of what Suce gave to multiple generations. Coach Sucietto was one of a kind.
My Condolences to the Sucietto family.

Condolence: So sorry to hear about Suc. He was a permanent fixture at St. James Fields. He coached my 3 sons in football and umpired my softball games when I played and when my daughters played. He coached for years the 7th 8th grade baseball team with my brother Jim Hirth, and Woody Works.I am sure many of the coaches that have passed on are having a great gab session in heaven. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.

Condolence: Dear Kathy, Sally, Rick, Jim, Debbie and Dan -- I'm very sorry to hear the news of your dad's passing. I know how it feels. I have a lot of fond memories growing up with you all. I always knew summer was coming when I would look down the backyards and see him working in the garden. Your dad was the man who taught me to call everyone "Brother!" As an adult, I always enjoyed talking to him when I'd see him at Haubner or after 6:30 Mass at St. I's. And he was always kind to my mom. Unfortunately, I will out of town for the funeral, but I wanted to let you know that I will be thinking of you all and praying for you. God Bless!

Condolence: Mr. Sucietto officiated many of my games growing up on the West Side (St. Martins, Gamble JHS, Western Hills HS. He was the embodiment of what a referee should be: fair, polite, encouraging, and a role model. He always seemed to enjoy the work, no matter what chaos might be going on around him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you and your family.

Condolence: Please accept my condolences for the passing of your dear loved one. When someone we love dies, the heartache and grief can be great. I hope that you can be comforted knowing that God cares for you and sees your pain. (1 Peter 5:7) "He is close to the brokenhearted and He saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18) May you find comfort and relief during this grievous time, as you cherish the precious memories of Richard.
