Condolences

Condolence From: Wendy Shields
Condolence: John, Janet, & Bruce. I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. I had lost touch with Frances in recent years but always remembered her friendship over the years since we first came to Pembroke many years ago. She invited me to attend the Canadian Club with her and her friends and then the church teas with Wendy Donahue. She was ways so proud of her children. I am sorry also that I am unable to come to the visitation today but I will be thinking of you and your family.

Condolence From: Fran and Mike Walmsley
Condolence: Do not know where to begin...my aunt was an amazing historian, guarder of the family news, a mom who never ever failed to show pride in her kids, a grandma who adored the grandchildren, and a wife who absolutely taught the rest of us by example how to "be one"...Mike and I have been coming annually to Pembroke for many years, and just enjoyed being with both Frances and Ted. All of our girls as well as Mike and I, have sported her socks, as well as her firm support no matter what "project" we were next on! She has "finished the race well"...and I just hope the rest of us will do as well.

Condolence: Dear John, Janet and Bruce - condolences to you and your families. Frances was a great lady, very kind with a positive outlook on life, made others feel positive. We knew her from church as well as through your Dad at Algonquin College,[Mary worked with Ted] and a couple of Sunday School events with the youth group. She was very proud of their children and grandchildren. Mary and Norman

Condolence From: Michael Beriault
Condolence: John, Janet and Bruce, I was saddened to hear of your mother's death. Both your parents were great people and so positive. I recall many Friday nights after basketball and football games gathering in your home for euchre games and pizza, and your folks always making us feel welcome. They always seemed to extend that confidence that we would all turn out to be responsible citizens someday. My regards to you all and blessed memories of your mother, Michael

Condolence: To the Dupuis Family . . . your Mom was also so pleasant . . .speaking lovingly of her family when we would chat in the mornings when she would walk at the Pembroke Mall. May the memories that you cherish as a family, bring you comfort in the days to come.

Condolence: Condolence: Frances was a wonderful and appreciative lady. I enjoyed my many visits with Frances, as her companion. She was so proud of her family and talked about her life in such a positive manner. Even in pain she would say how fortunate she was to have the life she had. I think of her often and will greatly miss our visits together. She is at peace now and her family and friends will have many precious memories of Frances. Rest in peace Frances

Condolence: Frances was one of a kind.
Who knows how many times I went up to Pembroke with Janet for weekend visits. And accompanied them on vacations in the Caribbean. She and Ted were generous, welcoming friends.
I'll always remember your radiant smile, Frances. You'll be missed by many.
Love you.

Condolence From: Revs. Patricia and Robert Elford
Condolence: Nobody has been so consistently thoughtful and kind to us since we arrived in Pembroke as Ted and Frances were. After Ted's passing, Frances continued to keep in touch, welcoming us to her home and celebrating an annual date we had in common, showing loving and encouraging interest in our Daniel and Brenda. Pembroke was better for having her here and warm memories of her will continue to comfort us. Her children are blessed to have had her as their mother, and we know that she treasured the three of them and the grandchildren beyond measure.
