Please accept my deepest condolences for your family's loss. I work with Patty Helleis and she has spoken often about her brother and how much she loved him. John was a great man and had a remarkable life. May you be comforted by the outpouring of love surrounding you and the memories you shared with John.

Condolence: My deepest sympathies to John's family. It was a pleasure working with him and getting to know him during and after our years together at Salomon/Citi. He was a terrific lawyer who also found time to explore other interests. A full and rewarding life.

Condolence: I have only worked with John for the last three years. One part of me is extremely grateful for our paths crossing and the other part of me is deeply saddened for not having John long enough. What I noticed about John was his innate ability to related to everyone on different levels. With me, it was love of the sport of ice hockey that we shared a connection. Professionally, John was often a calming voice, a voice of reason, a voice with a lot of weight in our circle at work. John never made anyone feel as if they were beneath him, although clearly John was a highly educated and experienced professional. He was quick and eager to share his experiences, both from his world travels but also his professional experiences. He told me once that he prided himself in mentoring new legal minds, which spoke volumes of John's value to work and his own value system. He always had time to chat, and when he disagreed he was always polite to hear you out and contemplate your supporting argument, and to then just as politely present his opinion and supporting reasoning. I will miss hearing his voice on the phone, greeting me with "Jimmy!" and I returning the gesture with "Johnny", and I will take a piece of what John taught me and try to be a better manager, person, friend, and neighbor.

Condolence: So sad to hear of John's passing. He loved his family very much, and mentioned you often. His annual Christmas card with letter summarizing his travels throughout the year left me green with envy. I wish I had the courage to travel to far off places by myself. You have my deepest condolences, and prayers. Now Bob will have someone in Heaven to pal around with. Although I didn't know him well, I hear he was a fun guy. His community service should make you proud and let you know you did a good job raising him.

Condolence: John Fedors, Jr. was one of a small cadre of pioneering lawyers who broke new ground in a legal specialty practice known as FinTech decades ago. John brought his engineer's precision to the craft of drafting and negotiating complex transactions for global financial powerhouses. He was a modest man with great intellectual gifts which he generously shared with all of those lucky enough to work with him. He was steadfast in his individuality and was much admired for his equanimity under the most stressful circumstances. I am very grateful to have had John in my life. John, your inspiration will remain with me always. Peace be with you.

Condolence: Patty, it is with a heavy heart that we are saying goodbye to John. He was such a good friend of mine from Sunset Lake. We were on the board together for many years. He loved the lake, the place he called home. 4th of July was such a highlight of the year for John. He loved to make the children happy by making cotton candy and snow cones for them for what seemed like hours. He also loved writing the newsletter and researching the history of the lake area for it.

I wanted you to know a member of the lake posted on our private Facebook page of John's passing. There are 25 messages from members. If you would like to read them I can get you access to our page.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know John loved you and your family very much. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
