Obituary for Amy L. Heberlig (Hoover)
Amy L. Heberlig, 93, a resident of the Sarah Todd Nursing Home, Carlisle, departed this life on the evening of Friday, March 9, 2018.
She was born in Upper Mifflin Twp., Cumberland County, a daughter of the late George and Minnie Davidson Hoover.
Amy was a homemaker throughout her life and helped her late husband, Adam, on their family farm. She was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ, Newburg, the Cumberland County Farm Women Group #19, and the former Lady Landis Rebekah Lodge #303, Newburg.
Amy is survived by a niece and several nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adam R. Heberlig, who died on December 14, 2003.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Mark Ruzicka will officiate. Interment will follow in the Newville Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion United Church of Christ at 20 Zion Road Newburg, PA 17240.
