Obituary for Roy A. "Hacksaw" Capers

Roy A. “Hacksaw” Capers, age 74, welded dawn to dusk and flew to heaven on March 9, 2018 at home in San Angelo, Texas.
Roy was born in Gorman, Texas on May 22, 1943 to Reta and S. T. Capers.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Roy is survived by his wife, Shirley; brothers, Jerry and Fred Capers of Fort Stockton; bonus children, Myra, Kenneth and Charletta.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Hallelujah Trail Cowboy Church in Eden, Texas. Arrangements are by Shaffer Funeral Home/Sherwood Way.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hallelujah Trail Cowboy Church, P.O. Box 1542, Eden, TX 76837.
